Passengers with reduced mobility

In order for the flight to go as smoothly as possible, the airline should be notified of the passenger’s special needs already upon booking the flight.

When you arrive at the airport, contact the check-in representative of the respective airline immediately and make sure that the airline has registered all the special needs you notified them of when booking your flight.

Before Your Flight

Let the airline know, if:

  • you need special assistance with baggage,
  • you need special assistance boarding the plane or getting from the plane to the terminal,
  • you are using a battery-powered wheelchair,
  • you are hearing-impaired and need personal information assistance,
  • you are travelling with a guide dog,
  • you use a mobile oxygen device.

Important! Different airlines may have different requirements and conditions. We recommend that travellers contact the airline or the representative who sold their ticket to be aware of such requirements and conditions.

If you need an oxygen device, please inform the airline of the type of the device in advance. Most airlines allow passengers to take such devices on board during the flight.

If your travels involve flying with several airlines or different types of aircraft, please ensure that all airlines you intend to use accept your devices, batteries, and other accessories already when booking the flight.

When you arrive at the airport, contact the check-in representative of the respective airline immediately and make sure that the airline has registered all the special needs you notified them of when booking your flight.

At the Airport

When arriving at the airport, please inform of your need for assistance at the information desk in the departure hall of the passenger terminal or turn directly to the check-in counter of your flight. Our specially trained assistants serve you according to your personal needs at the earliest opportunity.

If you wish the assistant to meet you at the parking station of the airport or public transport stop, please inform us in advance by phone
+(372) 605 8788 (24h). Also, you should coordinate all other special requests by the above phone number, to ensure that these are complied with.

The start of your trip is carefree if you arrive at the airport in time, at least 2 hours before the departure, and leave yourself a sufficient timeframe for all the necessary operations.

Please note! Please make sure that you have informed the airline of your need for assistance, following their rules, before the start of your trip. We do our best to help all the passengers at the Tallinn airport, who have expressed their wish for that; however the fulfilment of requests without prior notice may take notably more time than usual.
