Green Forum of the transport sector takes place again

05.04.2023

The Green Forum initiated by Tallinn Airport last year will take place again and this year, the airport will be joined by Port of Tallinn, Estonian Railway and Rail Baltic Estonia in addition to Green Tiger. The Green Forum of the transport sector will be held at 10:00 on 4 May at the Cruise Terminal of the Old City Harbour.

Sustainability and corporate responsibility have not lost their place in the rapidly changing world. On the contrary, they’re more important than ever before. Companies in the Estonian transport sector have decided to join forces and work together to make their contribution to the achievement of carbon and climate neutrality.

The focus topic of this year’s Green Forum is environmentally friendly construction and development activity – how is it possible? During the day, the managers of various Estonian transport sector companies give an overview of how they build in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner and develop the gates of Estonia. Europe’s vision and expectations for the sector’s green transition will also be discussed, as well as the roadmap for building Green Tigers.

In the second half of the day, we’ll hear about the activities of “Tallinn – the European Green Capital” and there will also be a broader discussion on “The Future of the Transport Sector – New Challenges and Opportunities”. Representatives from the Transport Administration, Hydrogen Valley, Skepast & Puhkim and Verston Ehitus will speak on the panel.

The Green Forum will be moderated by Annika Arras.

You can register for the Green Forum HERE. Registration is open until 24 April.
