Austrian low-fare airline Lauda will open a direct route from Tallinn to Vienna in April
In April 2020, the Austrian low-fare airline Lauda will start direct flights on the Tallinn-Vienna route, which gives an opportunity to fly to Austria at favourable prices.
“Adding airline Lauda among the partners of Tallinn Airport is really welcome, as their strong position on the Austrian market gives us a great opportunity to increase the number of Austrians visiting Estonia. In addition, Vienna, as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, has always been an extremely popular destination on our market”, said Eero Pärgmäe, the Commercial Director of Tallinn Airport.
Andreas Gruber, the CEO of Lauda: “Our routes are successful, because we offer suitable flights to price-sensitive customers. We are very pleased to start on the Tallinn-Vienna route that will increase the number of our inter-city destinations and expand our network.”
Vienna is one of the most beautiful capitals in Europe, the diverse architecture of which offers an exciting snapshot of the European history. On several occasions, Vienna has been named also as the city with the best quality of life. Viennese waltz, Sachertorte, and the world’s oldest zoo are just a few keywords of what Vienna has to offer its visitors. In Vienna, one will find the famous Schönbrunn Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and a large number of exciting art exhibitions. The vineyards around Vienna, the old Vienna woods with hilly landscape, and the River Danube attract hikers and even the Alps are just a few hours away.
Summer is the best time to set out on an exploration of Vienna’s art, culture and history. The flights to Vienna are operated three times a week. The ticket prices of the Lauda airline on the Tallinn-Vienna route start from 19.99 euros.
