In July, for the second consecutive month, Tallinn Airport achieved the largest number of passengers of all time. In total, nearly 271 thousand passengers passed the airport. In a year, the number of passengers has increased by 19 per cent, which is the biggest pace of growth in the past six months. The estimated number of passengers related to the presidency of the European Union was 10 thousand.
The number of seats offered at regular flights increased by 20 per cent compared to last year, and the relevant number of passengers by 19 per cent, the average percentage of filled seats on flights reached 77 per cent. In July, regular flights took place to 36 destinations, and flights to Frankfurt had the largest number of passengers. Due to the period of summer holidays, traffic in the seasonal lines of Odessa, Rijeka, Barcelona and Girona increased considerably; the most popular destination of charter flights was Antalya in Turkey.
