Latvian national airline airBaltic launched flights to Berlin on May 6 and to Vienna on May 7. airBaltic operates on four direct routes from Tallinn – to Riga, Paris, Berlin and now also Vienna.
Airbaltic will fly Bombardier Q400 NextGen plane on the Tallinn-Berlin and Tallinn-Vienna route four times a week.
Airbaltic CEO Martin Gauss said that by improving connections between the Baltic capitals and destinations in Europe, Airbaltic was strengthening its position as the Baltic carrier. “In addition to the Tallinn-Paris route that was launched last year, travellers from Tallinn will be able to enjoy the direct flight to central Europe in cooperation with Air Berlin and connections further to the south,” said Gauss.
