More than 185 thousand passengers were served at Tallinn Airport in May. Both the number of available seats and passengers served remained on the level of 2013, the average cabin factor on scheduled flights being 70%.
As before, the biggest route in terms of passengers was Frankfurt, served thrice daily by Lufthansa. Leisure passengers preferred charter flights to Antalya in Turkey. Two seasonal summer destinations to Split (Croatia) and Nice (France) were launched by Estonian Air. As an alternative to beach holidays it’s also possible to take a direct flight from Tallinn beyond the Arctic Circle, the town of Pajala in North Sweden, operated by Avies.
